Who is the fiery Divya Maderna, whom Congress has sent on 'Mission Kashmir'

Former MLA from Sawai Madhopur Danish Abrar has been made co-in-charge of Delhi, while Divya Maderna has been given the responsibility of co-in-charge of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. Divya Maderna is known for her sharp attitude and has a lot of influence in Rajasthan politics. Now she has been given a new responsibility by Congress. Born on 25 October 1984 in Jaipur, Divya Maderna's father Mahipal Maderna was a leader of the Congress party. While Divya Maderna's grandfather Parasram Maderna has served as a cabinet minister in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Maderna, who studied economics from the University of Nottingham, England, contested the Zila Parishad elections in Osian, Jodhpur at the age of 26 and was successful.

39-year-old Divya Maderna contested the Rajasthan Assembly elections from Osian in 2018 on an Indian National Congress ticket and won. However, she lost to BJP's Bhera Ram Chaudhary in the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections.
