Team India has won the Champions Trophy by defeating New Zealand by 4 wickets in the final. In the match played at Dubai International Stadium, India chased the target of 252 in 49 overs.

This is Rohit Sharma's second ICC title as captain in 9 months. He also won the T20 World Cup on 29 June last year.

Rohit Sharma played a captaincy innings and scored 76 runs. Shreyas (48 runs), KL Rahul (34 not out), Axar Patel (29 runs) played an important role in the run chase.

Kuldeep Yadav played the biggest role in bowling, who brought the game in India's favor by taking 2 wickets in two consecutive overs. He sent Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson to the pavilion. Daryl Mitchell (63 runs) scored the highest from New Zealand.
