Indian cricket team's star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant had gone through a horrific car accident in December 2022. Pant was seriously injured during this. Pant's accident happened on the Dehradun highway near Roorkee. During this, two youths pulled Pant out of his body after the accident, which saved his life. The two youths included Rajat Kumar and Nish Kumar. Now Rajat, who saved Pant's life, is fighting for his life in the hospital after attempting suicide. So let's know what is the whole matter.

According to media reports, Rajat and his alleged girlfriend tried to commit suicide by consuming poison together. In this incident, Rajat's girlfriend died, while Rajat's condition is critical.

If reports are to be believed, Rajat and his girlfriend, residents of Buchcha Basti, Muzaffarnagar, were with each other for about 5 years. Although both belonged to different castes. Both wanted to maintain their relationship, but the family members separated them and also refused this relationship. After this, 25-year-old Rajat and his 21-year-old alleged girlfriend tried to commit suicide. His girlfriend died in this incident, but Rajat is fighting for his life in the hospital.

Pant had expressed gratitude to Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar who saved his life. Pant had said in a social media post that I will always be grateful and indebted to those who saved my life. Apart from this, Pant had gifted a scooty to both the people who saved his life. It is worth noting that Pant is now fully fit and is playing for Team India. He was selected in Team India's Champions Trophy squad.
