FMGE December 2025 Result Out: How to Get Pass Certificate and What Matters Now
FMGE December 2025 result is out. Know how to get the FMGE pass certificate, scorecard dates, verification rules, and key NBEMS clarifications.
The FMGE December 2025 result is out, and qualified candidates must complete in-person verification to receive the pass certificate. Scorecards will be available from February 6, 2026, but they cannot replace the pass certificate for State Medical Council registration. Every step now matters for future medical practice in India.
The exam was held on January 17, 2026, and results were declared on January 29.
FMGE December 2025 Result Overview
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences declared the FMGE December 2025 results for nearly forty-four thousand candidates. Out of 43,933 students who appeared, 10,264 have qualified. The result status can be checked on natboard.edu.in using login details.
NBEMS also confirmed that the results of four candidates have been withheld, and those candidates will be informed separately through email.
When and Where to Download FMGE Scorecard
FMGE scorecards will be available for download on or after February 6, 2026, on the official NBEMS website. Candidates must download and save the scorecard carefully.
NBEMS has clearly said that scorecards will stay online only for six months. After that, they will be removed permanently, and no duplicate request will be accepted. Missing this step may create issues later.
FMGE Pass Certificate Rules Explained
The FMGE pass certificate will be issued only after in-person verification. This verification will check identity and original documents. The schedule for this process will be shared later on the NBEMS website.
NBEMS has made it very clear that the FMGE scorecard is not valid for State Medical Council registration. Only the official pass certificate can be used for medical registration in India.
Important Clarification for Medical Registration
All State Medical Councils will receive digitally signed FMGE results directly from NBEMS. This will be shared in official Excel format for verification purposes.
The PDF result uploaded on the website is only for candidate information. Councils will not accept it for verification later. Any mismatch or missing document can delay registration.
Question Paper Review and Marks Update
NBEMS reviewed every question after the exam. One question was found technically incorrect, so marks were given to all candidates. Another question had two correct answers, and marks were given to those who selected either option.
This review helped ensure fairness in evaluation.
Provisional Candidature and Warnings
NBEMS reminded candidates that their candidature remains provisional. Eligibility conditions will be checked again even after result declaration or certificate issue. If any rule violation is found later, the candidature can be cancelled.
Use of unfair means, at any stage, will lead to strict action under NBEMS rules and applicable laws.
FMGE Help and Support
Candidates with doubts can contact NBEMS at 011-45593000 or raise queries through the NBEMS Communication Web Portal. It is better to resolve issues early rather than wait.
For qualified candidates, the result is just the start. The next steps decide everything.
