There were allegations of EVM rigging in Maharashtra elections. Meanwhile, re-polling is going to be held in a village of the state on Tuesday. Here voters will again cast their votes with ballot papers today. This village is Markadwadi of Malshiras tehsil of Solapur district.

The people here allege that they had voted for Congress, but their party candidate did not get it. After this, people protested a lot. The police have imposed curfew here till December 5.

The people of the village are voting themselves. A senior officer while talking said that according to the Constitution, only the Election Commission has the right to conduct elections. But this is nothing but a kind of mock exercise.

Actually, Malshiras is an assembly seat, Markadwadi village comes here. NCP Sharad faction candidate Uttamrao Jankar had won from this seat. He got 13147 votes. However, he said that he got less votes in his own village, even though his own people live there. There are 1900 votes in Markadwadi village. In this, BJP got 1003 votes and he got 843 votes.

At the same time, the people of the village said that it is not so that Uttamrao Jankar does not get the lead in this village. The caste equations here are also in his favor. Jankar comes from the Dangar community. This village is also dominated by Dangars.

Regarding this, MLA Uttam Jankar said that he is checking through re-voting whether there was any tampering in the EVM or not. At the same time, BJP says that people have voted for their candidate. Their candidate has worked in the area. On that basis, people voted for him.
