Achieving a big goal at a young age is never easy, but 9-year-old Rutvik Singh (Youngest Black Belt in India) from Mira Road, Maharashtra, has proved that with dedication, discipline, and hard work, age is no barrier to success. In a short span of time, Rutvik has achieved several remarkable milestones in the field of karate.

Rutvik Singh achieved a major milestone by earning his Black Belt in Karate on February 17. He is currently a Class 4 student at Seven Square Academy. At such a young age, his journey has become an inspiring example of sporting excellence and self-discipline.

Started Karate Training at the Age of 6

Youngest Black Belt in India Rutvik Singh began his karate training at the age of just six years. From the very beginning, he focused on regular practice, discipline, and continuous improvement. Through dedication and perseverance, he successfully cleared multiple belt examinations and eventually reached the level of Black Belt.


Special Ceremony Held on February 17

A special ceremony was organized to celebrate Rutvik Singh’s achievement on February 17, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The event was held at Seven Eleven Scholastic School (ICSE Board), Unique Garden, near Laxmi Park, Kanakia, Mira Road (East), Mira Bhayandar, Maharashtra.


Consistent Progress in Karate

Rutvik Singh started his karate journey on June 25, 2022, with the White Belt. After that, he steadily progressed through various belt levels.

His belt achievements include:

08 Kyu Orange Belt – March 12, 2023

07 Kyu Green Belt – July 30, 2023

06 Kyu Blue Belt – November 26, 2023

Impressive Performance at National and International Level

Rutvik Singh has participated in 17 national and international karate tournaments so far. In these competitions, he delivered outstanding performances and won 30 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. He has also received four trophies for his exceptional performance.


His talent has been recognized internationally as well. Rutvik was honored with the “Outstanding Performer Trophy” by the Malaysian Karate-Do Association.
