Budget 2026 is expected to bring relief for traders and common people as inflation control and tax benefits remain the biggest focus. From fuel prices to GST simplicity, people want direct comfort in daily life. Leaders and business groups believe this Budget can support the weakest sections while pushing growth forward.

Budget Linked to Deendayal Upadhyaya Vision

Reacting to Budget 2026 expectations, BJP MP Atul Garg said the party’s economic thinking is deeply inspired by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. The core idea stays simple, uplift the last person standing in society. According to him, the last ten Union Budgets followed this path, and the upcoming one will go even further.

He described Budget 2026 as a step closer to Deendayal Upadhyaya’s dreams. In his view, this Budget will be stronger than the previous one and focused on empowerment rather than headlines. The intention, he said, is not temporary relief but long-term stability for common citizens.

Traders Want Inflation to Come Down

From Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, Joint Industry Trade Board district general secretary Aseem Vinod shared the biggest concern of traders, rising inflation. According to him, high transportation cost is one of the main reasons behind expensive goods.

Fuel prices directly impact every product, from vegetables to raw material. Traders believe that unless petroleum products become cheaper, inflation will not truly come down. Lower fuel cost means cheaper transport and better pricing stability across markets.

Ethanol Blending Policy Under Question

Aseem Vinod also raised concerns about the ethanol blending policy. He pointed out that ethanol is costlier than petrol, yet it is being mixed regularly. This, he said, puts pressure on fuel pricing instead of reducing it.

He urged the government to review this policy carefully. Traders feel that policies should reduce costs at ground level, not add hidden expenses that eventually reach the customer.

Income Tax Relief Still a Big Hope

Joint Trade Board state president Neeraj Jindal said traders and salaried people expect more income tax relief in Budget 2026. Last year’s tax benefits were welcomed, but many feel they were not enough.

He stressed that rising expenses have reduced real savings. Increasing tax exemption limits or offering simpler slabs could help restore financial breathing space. According to him, relief in direct taxes boosts spending and supports the economy naturally.

GST Simplification Remains Critical

GST is another major expectation area. Neeraj Jindal highlighted that many GST-related anomalies still trouble businesses. Different rates, compliance pressure, and confusion create stress for small and medium traders.

He said a simpler and more transparent GST structure will benefit both traders and the government. When compliance becomes easier, trust improves and revenue collection becomes smoother.

Hospitality Sector Seeks Tax Support

From Surat, Dream Holidays managing director Minesh Nayak shared views from the hospitality sector. He said hotels, restaurants, and related services need tax relief to grow faster.

This sector has shown strong recovery under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Nayak believes that lowering taxes on hospitality services can boost employment, tourism, and local business activity together.

Tourism and Events Industry Expectations

Expression Events managing director Dixit Trivedi also spoke from Surat, focusing on tourism and events. He said GST rate revision and tax cuts are necessary to help this sector compete globally.

He also suggested reducing TCS for international tourists. Better city connectivity and lower airline fares can attract more visitors. When travel becomes affordable, tourism and events grow naturally.

Common People Want Daily Relief

The voice of the common citizen remains clear. A resident from Nawada district in Bihar said Budget 2026 should directly help ordinary people. Food prices and household costs have increased steadily.

He believes controlling prices of essential items will help lower and middle-income families the most. Inflation relief is not just an economic issue, it affects dignity and daily comfort.

Why Budget 2026 Matters to Everyone

Budget 2026 is not only about numbers on paper. It touches fuel prices, food costs, taxes, jobs, and business survival. Traders want stability. Families want relief. The government is expected to balance both.

If inflation control and tax simplicity come together, this Budget could leave a lasting impact on everyday life across India.
