iQoo 15R is now official in India, bringing Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 power, a massive 7,600mAh battery, and a 50MP Sony camera at a starting price of Rs 44,999. It will go on sale from March 3, with pre-orders already live. The phone targets users who want flagship-level performance without paying ultra-premium prices.

iQoo 15R Price And Sale Date

The iQoo 15R comes in three variants. The base model offers 8GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at Rs 44,999. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs Rs 47,999. The top-end model with 12GB RAM is priced at Rs 52,999.

The smartphone is available in Dark Knight and Triumph Silver colour options. Pre-orders started at 1pm IST via Amazon, iQoo’s official website, and Vivo retail stores. Early sale begins March 2 at 10am, while general sale starts March 3 at 12pm.

There are launch offers too. Buyers can get an instant Rs 4,000 discount on HDFC and Axia Bank credit, debit, and EMI transactions. A bundle offer includes iQoo or Vivo TWS worth Rs 1,899 with purchase.

Powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Performance

At its core, the iQoo 15R runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor built on a 3nm process. Performance should feel fast. Very fast actually. Apps open quickly. Gaming runs smoother.

The device uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for better speed. There is also a SuperComputing Chip Q2 inside. It helps in maintaining stable frame rates during gaming. The phone supports up to 144fps gaming and 1.5K resolution gameplay.

If gaming matters to you, this phone seems ready.

Huge 7,600mAh Battery With 100W Charging

Battery is where this phone stands out most. A 7,600mAh silicon anode battery is massive by today’s standards. Most flagship phones don’t go this big.

The device supports 100W fast charging. iQoo claims it charges from 1 percent to 50 percent in 33 minutes. Full charge takes around 63 minutes. That is quick considering the battery size.

Heavy users will likely appreciate this. Fewer charges. More screen time.

144Hz AMOLED Display And Premium Build

The iQoo 15R features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Scrolling feels smooth. Animations look fluid. Outdoor brightness is said to be strong enough for sunlight visibility.

It has a 94.57 percent screen-to-body ratio and a slim 7.9mm profile. The phone uses a metal unibody design, giving it a premium touch. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, which adds peace of mind.

It looks flagship. Feels flagship too.

50MP Sony Camera With 4K Recording

On the back, the phone packs a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main camera with optical image stabilisation. Alongside it sits an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Photos should come detailed, especially in daylight.

For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera. The phone supports 4K video recording at 60fps with stabilisation. That means clearer videos, less shake.

For content creators, this could be handy.

Android 16 And Long-Term Updates

The iQoo 15R runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The company promises four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. That is solid long-term support.

It also includes AI features like note rewriting, text summarisation, live captions, image editing tools, screen translation, call translation, and support for Google Gemini.

The phone is manufactured in India at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility, which adds to its local production value.

Is iQoo 15R Worth Buying?

If you want strong performance, a very large battery, fast charging, and a smooth display under Rs 50,000, the iQoo 15R checks many boxes. It balances power and price quite smartly.

For gamers, heavy users, and people who hate charging often, this one looks tempting. March 3 will show how strong the demand really is.
