Day Turns to Night in Lucknow: Sudden Storm, Heavy Rain and Thunder Shock Residents

This morning in Lucknow, the weather suddenly took a dramatic turn. Dark clouds covered the sky, and for a while, it became pitch dark, almost like night. This was soon followed by a heavy thunderstorm and intense rainfall. People were left uneasy as the bright morning sun was suddenly overshadowed by darkness.

Although the Meteorological Department had already issued a yellow alert predicting a weather change, today’s sudden developments were unexpected for many. According to the weather department, from today till April 13, over 45 districts in the state are likely to experience light rain and thunderstorms with showers.

The day had started normally in Lucknow, but soon after, dark clouds began to gather and blocked the sunlight. Strong winds followed, and then heavy stormy rain began. The darkness during the daytime reduced visibility to almost zero, forcing vehicles to use headlights on the roads. Reports of strong rain and storm have also come from other districts. In Bahraich, large-sized hailstones were reported.
