Pahalgam Terror Attack: DGP Prashant Kumar issues High Alert In Uttar Pradesh

DGP Uttar Pradesh Prashant Kumar issued a high alert for Uttar Pradesh Police after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and issued instructions to be extra cautious on rail, road and air traffic keeping in view the activities of terrorist and other organizations in all sensitive districts of the state, border districts of other states, to keep a special watch on the anti-social, anti-national elements that have come to light earlier, to ensure special security of tourists and keep a special watch on the security of foreign tourists, to keep a strict vigil on the areas adjoining the international border of Nepal and bus-railway stations.

The DGP gave instructions to secure the security of important religious places, especially Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, Taj Mahal, etc., in accordance with the prescribed SOP.
